Espresso orange juice

Fruity espresso?

Espresso with orange juice and a sprig of rosemary

This is how your perfect summer day starts. You want coffee to wake up and a shot of vitamins. A little sugar also helps to start well. By combining espresso with fresh orange juice you have everything in one. This crazy mocktail-esque combo is all the rage on the internet.

It might sound a little crazy at first, but once you try this, you'll be drinking it all summer long. The fruity-sour taste of the orange juice combines wonderfully with the bitterness of the coffee (including the caffeine) and gives it a special taste.

Espresso orange juice has a fruity-sour taste. When sugar is added it gets a sweet taste, which makes it the ideal drink to enjoy this summer. It's not very difficult to make so no reason not to try it.

Easily make espresso orange juice

Fill the glass with ice cubes and add the orange juice. Make sure you leave at least 2 cm of space for the espresso.
Make a strong espresso and pour the espresso over the ice cubes.
It is important that the coffee ends up on an ice cube, so that layers are created.
Garnish with a slice of orange or a sprig of rosemary and finish with a straw.

If you want to add sugar, put it in the hot espresso first. Then the sugar dissolves nicely before you add it to the orange juice.
