Chinese brewing method
In Chinese tradition, tea is generally brewed with more dry tea per liter of water, depending on the variety and personal taste. The temperature of the water is often lower than we are used to, which gives black tea a sweeter taste. The tea is brewed shorter, but more often: by pouring it several times, the tea leaves also last longer. And if you use a small Chinese teapot and ditto cups, you can pour and pour again and again. The great thing is that with every course, different nuances are released from the tea leaves.
To attempt?
Take 150 ml of water at 80 degrees and 5 grams of tea. Let steep for 15-30 seconds and taste and enjoy the tea. Use the leaves again and again throughout the day and compare the different brews. When the tea no longer gives off any flavor, discard the leaves.
