Top coffee

Almost everyone who works in the coffee industry cites Kenyan coffee as a favourite. The reason for this is that this coffee has everything a good cup of coffee should have: a delicious aroma, a balanced acidity and body and excellent fruitiness.

The highest quality grows on Mount Kenya: The most important coffee-growing regions in Kenya are the high plains around Mount Kenya: the Aberdare Range, Kisii, Nyanza, Bungoma, Nakuru and Kericho.
The high plateaus and the acidic soil of the Kenya form a rich nutrient base for the coffee plants. The Kenya AA Karogoto Coop, said to be the very best Kenyan coffee, comes from this illustrious mountain. The Karogoto Coop Society is located here. This is part of the Tekangu Coop Society. That cooperative and the associated Nyeri district is staffed by 3161 farmers, mainly members of the Kikuyu Tribe. In total, about 573,000 coffee farmers in Kenya, in 250 cooperatives, on 1275 plantations together guarantee Kenyan top quality.

Kenyan coffee is of the mild Arabica type and is known for its intense taste, full body and pleasant aroma. It is a unique, very complex coffee. Characteristic are the black fruit flavors, of which the black currant is the most pronounced. The coffee is further distinguished by a refined acidity, certainly not too sour, with floral and wine-like aromas and a sweetish milk chocolate note in the background.

This coffee is a 100% Arabica coffee.

  • FARMERS DIRECT

  • VERS GEBRAND
