Twinings is most famous for its Earl Grey. The tea that takes its name from the 2nd Earl Charles Grey. He reportedly got the recipe for the tea from a Chinese diplomat.
It is a harmonic blend of the finest China teas, delicately flavored with bergamot. Earl Gray is best enjoyed pure or with lemon, outside meals or just with a snack. Traditionally people drink Earl Gray in the evening, but it also tastes good during the day.
