Description
Aromatic tea from Rwanda from sustainable cultivation. This tea from Rwanda looks a bit like Ceylon and is a great afternoon tea.
Growing tea is attractive in Central Africa. At least in places where the land is flat and the climate is good. The flat land makes it easy to work mechanically, which makes it easier for the tea farmers to produce a competitive tea.
Much tea from Africa was (and is) destined for large-scale processors for tea bags. But in recent years there has been a growth of small-scale quality tea in countries such as Malawi and Rwanda.
