Bijzondere thee

Een aparte thee uit de regio Kapkoros in Kenia: het grote licht-gedraaide blad heeft veel goudkleurige bladpunten. Maar deze thee-variant bevat ook veel anthocyanen, de stoffen die in planten zorgen voor een rode of paarse kleur. Dat geeft deze zwarte thee zijn naam en een wat aparte kleur, hoewel niet echt paars.

De thee heeft een complex aroma, met tonen van rood fruit en een lichte astringentie.
