Highgrown Ceylon

This Ceylon produces a clear, rich, coppery infusion with a delicious, fresh taste.

Organic cultivation is complex and strictly regulated. Fertilizers, pesticides, and weedkillers must absolutely contain no chemicals and must be based entirely on substances such as manure, compost, and natural organic materials.

This tea comes from the Haputale district in Sri Lanka, and the plantation is located at an altitude between 1,500 and 2,000 metres. This Ceylon tea is therefore a highgrown Ceylon. 

Highgrown Ceylon tea is known for its richer flavour. It is naturally cooler in the mountains, so the bush grows more slowly, resulting in a more intense flavour.
