Description
In East Friesland, not a day goes by without tea. For 300 years there has been a tradition to drink strong black tea daily, always with candy (kluntje) and cream (wulkje). Every real East Frisian contains a powerful Assam that makes the tea heavy and full of flavour. This blend consists of broken Assam and Sumatra with many golden tips.

If you want the real East Frisian tea, you first put candy in your cup. When pouring the tea you can hear the candy crackle. Then a small spoonful of cream in your tea and do not stir. You will then get a nice cloud of cream in your cup. And preferably serve the tea in traditional East Frisian porcelain.
