Autumn Coffee - A Blend for Chilly Days

Now that autumn has begun, both according to the calendar and in terms of the weather, a spicy blend with notes of dark chocolate is a perfect drink to enjoy either black or with milk and other treats.

Our special autumn coffee blend is a carefully crafted mix of Brazil, Mexico & Toraja. The unique characteristics of each of these coffee varieties are reflected in this blend. Earthy, spicy, rich, sweet.

To celebrate autumn with all its beautiful colours and aromas, we have three recipes you can make with the autumn coffee.

Autumn Latte

A traditional latte gets an autumn twist with the addition of pumpkin and spices. The rich flavours of our autumn blend pair perfectly with the creamy texture of milk and the spicy notes of cinnamon and nutmeg.

  • 30 ml espresso (made with our autumn coffee)
  • 200 ml steamed milk
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin purée (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla syrup
  • A pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg on top

Preparation: Take a mug and mix the espresso, pumpkin purée and vanilla syrup. Add the steamed milk and garnish with cinnamon and nutmeg.

Spicy Autumn Cold Brew

For cold coffee lovers, this spicy cold brew is a real treat. It combines the depth of our autumn blend with the spicy notes of cinnamon, cloves and star anise, resulting in a refreshing yet warming drink.
  • 100 grams coarsely ground autumn blend coffee
  • 1 litre cold water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 cloves
  • 1 star anise

Preparation: Mix all the ingredients in a large jug or cold brew maker. Let it steep in the refrigerator for 12-24 hours. Strain and serve over ice, with a little milk if desired, in a nice glass.

Mocca Choco Autumn Drink

Chocolate and coffee are a match made in heaven, and with this mocha choco drink, they complement each other in the best possible way. The sweetness of the chocolate syrup is perfectly balanced by the deep and rich flavours of our autumn blend.

  • 30 ml espresso (made with your autumn blend)
  • 150 ml hot milk
  • 30 ml chocolate syrup
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Preparation: Mix the espresso and chocolate syrup. Add the hot milk. Garnish with a dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle with cocoa powder if desired.
