Pure rooibos tea
Rooibos gives a red-brown cup of tea - although you shouldn't actually call it tea. The name tea is reserved for the "real tea" of the tea plant. Rooibos tastes soft and has a honey-like smell.
If you like sweet rooibos, then honey is the perfect sweetener. Warm or cold, rooibos is very easy. It always tastes.
Rooibos is naturally caffeine-free and rich in trace elements such as fluorine, iron, calcium, potassium, copper and also contains vitamin C.
Like black tea, Rooibos is oxidized. There is also green rooibos, where this oxidation has stopped due to the faster drying process. Oxidation is a natural process in which the plant juices react with the oxygen in the air. This process changes and develops the taste.
