Description
This Sencha tea comes from the area around the city of Kakegawa, in the south of the Shizuoka prefecture in Japan. The tea has a relatively large leaf, because the third and fourth leaf of the tea bush is also used for the production of this tea.
The tea has a soft-spicy, intensive umami taste. Sencha is a green tea for every day in Japan. Literally it means -violent tea-. The extraction of the whole leaf gives a greenish-yellow infusion.
