Pure licorice root
Liquorice is the name under which short pieces of the rhizome of Glycyrrhiza glabra are sold. This contains a sweetener that is about 30 to 50 times stronger than sugar.
Liquorice is often used in licorice and candy, but you can also make tea from it.

Remark
When consumed in excess, licorice root increases blood pressure. People with high blood pressure are advised not to use licorice root.
