Twinings is best known for its Earl Grey. The tea takes its name from the 2nd Earl Grey. He is said to have received the recipe for the tea from a Chinese diplomat.
It is a harmonious blend of the finest Chinese teas, delicately flavoured with bergamot. Earl Grey is best enjoyed plain or with lemon, between meals or simply with a snack. Traditionally, Earl Grey is drunk in the evening, but it is also delicious during the day.
